The most amazing thing about future is that it haven't happened yet. Therefore, we can control it, or try to control it. Most of us use Windows Operating System, and I think we should have plenty to say about its future. We should be able to control it's future -even if it is a little control. I am sure everyday you hear a new buzz word around cloud computing, Cloud OS, Cloud contacts... Well, then this wouldn't shock you : "Cloud Mouse". No it is not a mouse in the clouds, but instead it is a mouse that will help you navigate the clouds. Allow me to explain. What's the one thing that comes to your mind when you think of cloud computing. No beside "clouds"! What else? Yeah, "Data". All this information overload needs new interface to make sense of. We need a 3D visualization tool or something along that line to easily make sense of that. Born from this need is "The Cloud Mouse". It is "a project driven by Microsoft Research Asia, in collaboration with Harper, is one such technology, demonstrating a novel hardware and interaction design that illustrates the properties of a general-purpose user interface for cloud computing." source

Driving Solar powered car seems realistic, but planes? To some of us it sounds a bit dangerous. Although, we all know that there is always backup. No engineer would be so stupid to actually build Solr only plan, but still there is that fear!
